About

About Me

I am a counselling psychologist working with adolescents, adults and couples in Mumbai. Currently I work with Clove mind where I work as a Consultant Counselling Psychologist providing counselling to corporate clients in the Employee assistance program. Apart from this I have my own private practice and have also facilitated mental health workshops in schools. 
My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationships, couple conflicts, anger management, childhood trauma and any other mental health related issues.

I hold a Masters in Counselling from Monash University, Australia as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology from CAE, Singapore. I am also trained in the Gottman Couples Method 1 &2 and family therapy. 
My total combined work experience of HR and counselling spans over 12 years where I have also worked in corporate HR, training and learning and development functions previously. Having worked in Singapore and India, my multicultural background also helps me to understand and empathize with clients of different nationalities, backgrounds, and cultures while giving clients a safe, non-judgmental and caring space.
I have always had a deep inclination towards helping people to maximize their fullest potential and find their unique and true selves which led me to a full-time career in counselling, coaching and training. In my training towards being a counsellor I discovered my true self and it impacted me at all aspects of my life in the most positive way and my belief is that finding and nurturing your true self is possible with greater self-awareness and right tools. I feel that by healing your past issues, you can begin to transform your present and then you are ready to fly to higher pursuits.

I practice evidence-based approaches/therapies in my counselling which is Acceptance and Commitment Theory (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, REBT, Narrative therapy, DBT, Mindfulness-based Therapy (MCBT), and Gottman’s Couples Method to meet clients' individual needs and goals.

I have also conducted mental health and career development workshops in schools and been a speaker for webinars and online programs in Singapore and Mumbai. I have also volunteered in Singapore in schools, shelter home and in India with Prafulta and Mindepowered as a coach and counsellor where I have done webinars and also workshops.

I have received Bark top counsellor award twice in Singapore. Have also received 80+ positive reviews so far and done 600+ sessions counselling sessions.
